NEW ENGLAND TEAMSTERS UPS SUPPLEMENTAL NEGOTIATION UPDATE
Brothers and Sisters,
Today we update you on our ongoing bargaining with United Parcel Service. Your bargaining committee met on February 14, 15 and 16, 2023 with the company. The Union has not and will not accept any concessions from the company. We made our intentions clear to UPS.
Your bargaining committee is comprised of leaders from every local that represents UPS members in New England. We also have five rank-and-file members that were picked from lists of rank-and-file members provided by the local Unions.
Bargaining started in January. At the time the Union presented a full proposal package to the company. We have bargaining scheduled again on March 21, 22 and 23, 2023.
Brothers and Sisters, we will not be agreeing to any concessions, and we demand that United Parcel Service respect our membership and agree to a contract our members will be proud to ratify. We continue to believe that deadlines make deals.
